CEVA Logistics — CEVA Logistics is trialling driverless pallet movers at Blue Hub: two Zelostech Z10 autonomous electric vehicles on existing multi-level ramps, shifting stock between floors. CEVA expects at least 4,600 kilograms a year in cut emissions. Zelostech met CEVA via the 2025 CMA CGM Startup Awards; this warehouse automation trial decides whether the vehicles reach other CEVA sites.
Hanjin — Major safety breaches have fallen roughly 60% at Hanjin Logistics sites running AI Safety Guardian, an AI camera system for warehouse safety now active across about 20 logistics terminals. CCTV feeds are scanned for staff crossing conveyor belts, vehicles flouting site rules, cars blocking pedestrian walkways and unworn hard hats; violations trigger flashing lights, voice warnings and a text alert to safety managers, delivering surveillance-based hazard alerts in real time. Ten locations near greater Seoul launched first, in late July, before expansion into Chungcheong, Gangwon and other outlying regions.
Verne — Verne and Pony.ai put passengers into robotaxis with an empty driver's seat on Zagreb's public roads from 10 September 2026, which both firms call a European first. Driverless robotaxi rides trace a 22-kilometre corridor from Verne's base and a main city business district to Franjo Tudman Airport Zagreb. Since paid operations opened in April the autonomous fleet has covered over 200,000 kilometres and several thousand fare-paying rides, at a mean passenger score of 4.7 out of 5.
Brisbane City Council — Brisbane City Council said it will hand traffic signal timing at 37 intersections to AI — 22 along Logan Road and 15 along Kelvin Grove Road — in a six-month trial beginning early in 2027. The AI traffic signal system is to read traffic volumes and queue lengths at each intersection and work out the best light sequence from them, learning over time, suggesting interventions to operators and adapting to weather and major events. The council's smart traffic signals plan follows a separately announced trial at one intersection in Petrie, north of the city.
IJM Corporation — IJM opened an RM18 million Smart Highway Traffic Control Centre at the Besraya Loke Yew toll plaza lay-by, watching its Besraya, New Pantai Expressway and Kajang-Seremban concessions through 144 CCTVs, 87 video incident detection systems, 35 automatic number plate recognition scanners and 22 variable message signs. The AI highway monitoring flags congestion, pedestrians on the carriageway, early flood signs, liquid spillage, potholes, dumped rubbish, wrong-way and reversing vehicles, illegal lane changes, hard-shoulder stops and illegal advertising banners and posters, and counts vehicles by class. Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi officiated, and the centre's smart highway data feeds the Malaysian Highway Authority's national traffic management centre.
Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics — Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics unveiled Digital ESL, an AI logistics platform for web and mobile, in Addis Ababa. Importers, exporters and partners place orders, schedule container loading and follow cargo any time, anywhere; the state-owned operator says AI algorithms remove human handoffs. The self-service system replaces paper clearance at Ethiopia's dry ports and sea supply routes.
CJ Logistics — CJ Logistics has deployed a pair of dual-arm humanoid robots for live packing at the Olive Young logistics centre in Yangji, Yongin, marking its debut for humanoid robots in logistics. The dual-arm machines slot cushioning into boxes as orders are packed, and the company plans to extend them to inspection, sorting and picking while feeding site data back into training their control models.
Uber — Uber and Wayve have launched supervised autonomous rides in London, the first self-driving trips offered in the United Kingdom. Riders booking UberX, Uber Electric or Uber Comfort may be matched at no extra cost with a Wayve car, an all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E with Wayve AI Driver and surround sensors. A trained, TfL-licensed private hire driver oversees each trip, and a small fleet serves the city at first, airports excluded.
NJ Transit — NJ Transit's redesigned website now carries Navvie, an AI chatbot giving riders conversational answers without navigating multiple pages, the agency says. Navvie answers questions on schedules, alerts, transfers and trip planning, and may be added to the NJ Transit mobile app by end-2026. It answers Governor Mikie Sherrill's executive order on improving digital infrastructure and passenger information; a separate request for information seeks a unified real-time customer information platform.
City of Moreton Bay — The City of Moreton Bay will run Australia's first AI traffic lights trial at the junction of Paper Avenue and Moreton Parade in Petrie, using SWARCO software that controls signal movements in real time on active demand instead of stepping through fixed phases. Cameras and 3D LiDAR sensors are to tell passenger vehicles, heavy transport, cyclists and pedestrians apart, with the system learning local patterns and recalculating sequences on the spot. Testing was set to start in September 2026 and the AI signal control trial runs to 2029; no source confirms the switch-on day.
Eastern Pacific Shipping — Eastern Pacific Shipping is extending AI collision avoidance from Orca AI to dozens more ships after a five-vessel pilot of over 130,000 nautical miles. The companies report 48% fewer close encounters per 1,000 nautical miles and 10% wider average passing distances, figures with no independent evaluation. Delta Air Lines — Delta Air Lines chief executive Ed Bastian told a podcast the airline will expand AI in ticket pricing and predictive operations, expecting up to 50% better profitability. Delta calls its pricing system a decision-support tool on aggregated market data and denies individualised fares based on personal data. US lawmakers want answers on how AI and personal data affect fares.
Tocumen International Airport — Tocumen International Airport's rebuilt digital platform features Tocumín, an AI airport assistant that tells a traveller at gate 115 how long the walk to gate 205 takes and the route, alongside retail, parking, connection and flight details. Tocumen S.A.'s in-house team built the wayfinding assistant in about 18 months; biometric access to travel information is due in 2027. The airport handled 13.7 million passengers from January to July 2026, 15 per cent up on a year earlier.
Air Transat — Air Transat, launch airline for Montreal firm stratosX, runs its X360 decision-support platform in its operations centre. Combining predictive modelling and generative AI with the airline's operations data, it recommends aircraft and passenger rerouting through schedule changes, delays and cancellations, with crew, aircraft and passenger data in one view. Air Transat co-develops it with stratosX and expects faster recovery, clearer cross-team visibility and steadier decisions.
Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority — The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority is fitting AI bus cameras to 131 intercity buses, ten each with six inside and four outside, to catch driver fatigue or inattention, count boarding and alighting passengers and log accidents and unusual incidents. Taxis already carry five AI-supported smart cameras watching the road and the cabin. Chairman Yousef Khamis Al Othmani says the rollout continues for safety, efficiency and customer experience.
Aeropuerto Internacional de Punta Cana — Punta Cana International Airport has deployed SeeTrue's AI baggage screening, which reads Leidos ClearScan CT scanner images at checkpoints live to help inspectors find possible illicit substances and undeclared cash in luggage. The airport calls it the first international-airport use of SeeTrue's algorithms with ClearScan for drug and currency detection, built to avoid slowing passenger processing.
Malta Public Transport — San Lawrenz, Gozo hosts Malta Public Transport's autonomous bus pilot, launched 19 August 2026. A safety operator supervises the route between Ċangura and Dbieġi while onboard AI, sensors, cameras, GPS and LiDAR handle the driving. Free rides come with a survey request, helping the University of Malta evaluate the driverless shuttle scheme.
Singapore Airlines — Singapore Airlines has more than 160 airline AI applications in production, among them a Flight Recommender fielding nearly 10,000 queries a day by the end of FY2025/26. 'JARVIS', its generative-AI staff assistant, serves about 5,079 of 5,600 ground staff, per the annual report and senior vice-president of IT George Wang.
Ryanair — Ryanair has signed a five-year deal putting Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise in front of 35,000 employees, aiming AI in aviation at crew logistics, decision automation and corporate productivity. It also plans Google DeepMind's AlphaEvolve and WeatherNext models for maintenance scheduling and fleet operations; no deployment timeline was given.
PostNL — PostNL is deploying AI agents to automate administrative and support work under what it calls an 'AI-first' strategy, speeding process automation and standardisation. The work sits in a cost-savings plan now up to €180 million, including about €75 million extra across 2027 and 2028. Chief executive Pim Berendsen said this makes the cost base more competitive; no AI products were named.

Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan — Tajikistan's Ministry of Transport is piloting an AI call centre for carriers, run by its Center for Digitalization of the Transport Sector and reachable on 8808. It aims to cut the time needed to secure permits, passes, vouchers and cargo waybills. An AI-powered call centre for freight operators like this also comes with a Telegram channel, Centre for Information Support of Users of Transport Systems, and a chatbot, MintransBot, for user queries.

Built with IT firm Nortus on a Microsoft platform in four weeks, it uses Gemini to read free-text letters, extract key facts, log them in the central database and draft replies.
Planzer Paket — Mathilde, a Level 4 autonomous delivery vehicle from logistics firm Planzer Paket and startup LOXO, drives Bern's public roads driverless. Electric-powered, it links Planzer's rail hub with city transfer points. An attendant still sits in the passenger seat under a Federal Roads Office permit, with fully driverless delivery the eventual goal.
Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (Oman) — Oman's Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology has introduced the country's first AI asphalt paving technology on phase four of the Sultan Said bin Taimur Road dualisation in Maqshan, Dhofar. The goal is faster construction at high quality; contractor Galfar Engineering & Contracting says the self-paving system coordinates paving machinery and cuts manual work on site.
Kenya Airways — Kenya Airways has taken on Jupiter 5.0, FlyNava Technologies' system for AI fare pricing. With the AI-driven pricing tool, the airline's revenue team models new fare structures before rollout and responds quicker to shifting demand while pricing calls stay visible.
Western Cape Department of Infrastructure — The Western Cape Department of Infrastructure watches about 5,000 km of strategic provincial roads with Bentley Systems' Blyncsy, the technology's first African use, per Bentley. Royal Arctic Line, DanPilot Greenland and Arctic Command crews compared the automated output against hand-drawn charts through the season and reported quicker, more frequent refreshes than the older method allows.
