The Straits Institute for Applied AI (www.straitsai.institute) is a joint venture between Straits AI Group and iGroup. It serves as the training, publishing and academic research body of the Straits AI Group.
Headquartered in Singapore, the Institute specialises in building AI education programmes at the speed of AI itself, operating across the AI+ Library of professional texts and volumes; taught and self-paced courses built on that curriculum; AI-powered LMS and assessment platforms that draw on the full corpus to teach each user in custom lesson progressions and measure what they can do; and Partner Schools delivering accredited programmes with universities, colleges, training providers and professional bodies.
The Institute rests on one belief: AI is a multiplier of human capability, not a replacement for it.Material is jointly developed by the Group's engineers and the Institute's curriculum team, reviewed by senior practitioners, and updated before it goes stale.

- The Institute's published curriculum: 337 profession-specific applied AI titles across 21 fields, tiered from foundational to senior leadership and bundled into 52 curated collections. Each title is written for one job rather than for AI in general, and refreshed every six months.
- What is The State of Applied AI?
- The Institute's research base of real-world AI deployments, maintained by its Industrial Research Unit — a named organisation putting AI into a real job, tracked across every country and 17 industries, each entry traced to whoever reported it and dated. It runs continuously, and is published in full as data, not only as a page.
- How are the courses delivered?
- Three ways, from the same course: cohort sessions in a room run by a certified trainer, hybrid — the session in the room and the practice in the Learning App — or entirely self-paced in the app. Every course carries its own assessment, and the certificate is issued against the skills the course teaches rather than against attendance.
