The Polish marketplace, with over 80 million products from more than 150,000 sellers, announced both with its first-quarter 2026 results. Poland2025A four-centre observational study in Poland (ACCEPT/OperA project), published in The Lancet Gastroenterology & Hepatology in August 2025, gave the first real-world evidence of AI deskilling among clinicians: endoscopists' adenoma detection rate on standard, non-AI colonoscopies fell from 28% before routine AI exposure to 22% after. The design was not randomised, and the authors note its population differs from the main ACCEPT trial target, so generalisability is unconfirmed. It is a rare documented downside of clinical AI.
