Częstochowa city hall will test the state AI HUB assistant for clerks

Polish government tests PLLuM AI assistant in three central offices
KPRM, Senate and Prokuratoria Generalna — Testing of an AI assistant for public administration is underway at three Polish bodies: the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the Senate Chancellery and the Prokuratoria Generalna (General Prosecutor's Office). Deputy Digital Affairs Minister Dariusz Standerski described three planned uses: answering general questions on central government, a legal function that cites regulations plus relevant court decisions, and automatically anonymising documents. Built on the PLLuM language model, this AI tool for government officials should see two or three functions rolled out into central office systems by end-2026.

Poland passes AI Systems Act implementing EU AI Act
Polish Parliament and President of Poland — Poland's Sejm passed the Act on Artificial Intelligence Systems on 11 June 2026, the country's implementation of Poland AI regulation under the EU AI Act; President Andrzej Duda signed it into Polish law on 27 July 2026. A four-centre observational study in Poland (ACCEPT/OperA project), published in The Lancet Gastroenterology & Hepatology in August 2025, gave the first real-world evidence of AI deskilling among clinicians: endoscopists' adenoma detection rate on standard, non-AI colonoscopies fell from 28% before routine AI exposure to 22% after. The design was not randomised, and the authors note its population differs from the main ACCEPT trial target, so generalisability is unconfirmed. It is a rare documented downside of clinical AI.

That ranks 24th of 147 economies, level with Germany (32.3%), behind the United States (33.0%) and well above the 18.8% world rate. The AI adoption estimate is pooled and anonymised, not survey-based.
