Danish courts roll out Microsoft Copilot to all staff

Denmark passes supplementary law to implement EU AI Act

Folketinget (Danish Parliament) — Denmark AI regulation now runs through Law No. 467, the Act on Supplementary Provisions to the Regulation on Artificial Intelligence, passed by the Folketing and active from 2 August 2025. Three bodies enforce it: Digitaliseringsstyrelsen (Danish Agency for Digital Government) as lead contact, Datatilsynet (Danish Data Protection Agency) and Domstolsstyrelsen (Danish Court Administration), which inspect firms, demand records and levy fines (bødeforelæg) for breaching the EU AI Act — Denmark's version of EU AI Act enforcement.
