Trained on common cancers and benign lesions, this AI-assisted screening assesses mole and lesion photos, speeding clinical decisions and curbing unneeded referrals.

Backed by Digital Jersey, the software drafts patient summaries, medical notes and referral letters automatically, so GPs spend less time typing and more time with patients.

Its stance remains proportionate and risk-based, stretching current requirements to reach AI in financial services: oversight structures, human review, data stewardship and continuous scrutiny.

Jersey30 Sep 2025Channel Islands Coop — A till-side scan now decides whether Jersey shoppers look old enough for restricted goods, after Channel Islands Coop fitted ten stores with facial age estimation technology at self-checkout points. The retailer calls it the island's first such trial; no photos or personal records are kept by the age verification system. Staff still oversee sales, but the software confirms eligibility first.
