Kenya's courts now get AI transcripts of proceedings overnight

Judiciary of Kenya — Kenya's Judiciary has moved from trial to routine AI court transcription, capturing proceedings electronically with transcripts ready overnight. Supreme Court Judge Isaac Lenaola presented it at the AI Everything Summit at Gitex Kenya in Nairobi, adding that the Judiciary plans a countrywide hub to pool transcription for all courts. A Judiciary chatbot also responds to public legal queries.
