Kazakhstan will test AI in ten small schools from September

Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan — Kazakhstan's education ministry, under Minister Zhuldyz Suleimenova, said its AI in schools pilot would begin on 1 September in ten small schools across the Pavlodar and Kyzylorda regions, with AI solutions tested in fourth-grade classes covering mathematics, digital literacy, the native language and AI itself. Fifty more schools are scheduled to join in November and another 300 in January 2027, on the way to 500 small rural schools through 2029. Kazakhstan extends its AI judicial assistant to every court

Supreme Court of Kazakhstan — The Supreme Court of Kazakhstan is finishing the nationwide rollout of its Digital Judge's Assistant, an AI judicial assistant piloted for about eighteen months in Astana and the Zhambyl, Karaganda and Mangystau regions. It searches about 15 million machine-readable units of judicial material for comparable cases, analyses practice, structures claims, lays out parties' positions in Kazakh and Russian and forecasts likely civil-dispute outcomes. Judges keep the decision, with court chairs stressing the tools assist rather than replace them.

Shymkent hospital adds AI stroke reading to its CT workflow

City Clinical Hospital No. 1, Shymkent — City Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Shymkent added CEREBRA, AI stroke detection that reads brain CT scans for acute cerebrovascular events, in July 2026, continuing a phased city rollout that began at City Hospital No. 2. Its doctors treat it as a supplementary tool and still decide the stroke type themselves; over 4,000 studies went through CEREBRA across Shymkent in the first half of 2026.
