CHU de Guyane deploys AI endoscopy to detect colorectal cancer

CHU de Guyane — Cayenne's public hospital, CHU de Guyane, now screens for bowel cancer using Cad Eye, an AI-assisted colonoscopy tool built into a high-resolution endoscope. Adenoma detection has jumped from 15 to 40 percent since the technology entered its gastroenterology department, which handles over 1,200 procedures a year.
