The smart patrol cars' 360-degree cameras feed real-time facial recognition and automatic number-plate reading through AI algorithms for instant checks; officers trained first, the DGSN says.

Morocco1 Jun 2026Ministry of Health and Social Protection — Morocco's health ministry is piloting AI ultrasound to help staff perform and read scans, mainly for pregnant women in rural areas, health minister Amine Tehraoui told the House of Representatives. The AI-assisted scanning runs at the Aghbala health centre in Béni Mellal province and Moulay Bouazza in Khénifra province, backing midwives and other health professionals, sharpening diagnosis and catching high-risk pregnancies sooner.
