Damascus University AI reads hysteroscopy images at 89% accuracy
Damascus University — Damascus University engineers built AI hysteroscopy image classification separating healthy endometrium from endometrial polyps and endometritis in fertility patients. Four transfer-learned architectures, VGG-16, VGG-19, DenseNet-121 and EfficientNet-B0, were fitted to 1500 annotated stills drawn from 200 procedures, scoring 85 to 89%.
