Kuwait will add AI agents to its national government call centre

Central Agency for Information Technology (Kuwait) — Kuwait's Central Agency for Information Technology will set up, with Sprinklr, one system for handling citizen and resident enquiries across every state body, starting with an AI contact centre overhaul of Wasel 101. The agency says Wasel 101 will then sort and forward queries automatically, run real-time analytics and give the AI-assisted call centres virtual assistants and smart agents.

Kuwait's traffic department will use AI to cite taxi and delivery drivers

General Traffic Department, Ministry of Interior (Kuwait) — Kuwait's General Traffic Department will soon bring AI traffic enforcement to delivery vehicles, public transport, car rentals, ride-hailing services and taxis through an electronic monitoring system. The system will watch driving behaviour, spot violations and issue automated citations in real time, supporting prosecution of offenders.

Kuwait brings Google's AI tools to 40,000 secondary teachers

Ministry of Education (Kuwait) — Kuwait's Ministry of Education is rolling out Google for Education's AI tools to about 40,000 secondary teachers and department heads, an AI teacher training project for safe, ethical classroom AI use. Running from early 2026 to year-end across all educational districts, it seeks common digital proficiency standards and better teaching practice.
