Jordan gives its government an AI-generated spokesperson called Farah
Government of Jordan — Jordan's government has introduced Farah, an AI government spokesperson created as a virtual character, to inform citizens and others, explain decisions and policies and speed official news, says Government Communications Minister Mohammad Al-Momani. Farah has an Instagram account, and Al-Momani later announced an English-language version of the virtual spokesperson.

Jordan bars public bodies from altering national symbols with AI
Prime Ministry (Jordan) — Jordan's government has barred ministries, public institutions, state universities, municipalities, Greater Amman Municipality and government-owned companies from using AI to produce or alter flags, seals, official photographs, sovereign symbols or national emblems in ways that affect authenticity or approved form. The Jordan AI regulation also bans publishing or adopting AI-compromised symbols or seals; government AI rules require the original approved versions.

Jordan's AI study assistant Siraj reaches a million students
Ministry of Education (Jordan) — Jordan's Ministry of Education counts over a million students and 100,000 teachers using Siraj, the AI learning assistant launched by the ministry in October 2025. Students put questions, get curriculum-tied explanations and revise for exams; teachers draft explanations and create curriculum-linked questions and activities, with integration into the ministry's learning management systems under way.

Jordan uses AI to find leaks across its water networks
Ministry of Water and Irrigation — Jordan's Smart Transformation Project for Water and Wastewater Services Management applies AI water leak detection to its networks, ministers Raed Abu Saud (Water and Irrigation) and Sami Smirat (Digital Economy) were told at the Dabouq Operations Centre. Abu Saud called it the Kingdom's first such project, with pilot areas showing lower pressure, smaller losses and better distribution. AI analysis of consumption and demand lets the Water Authority of Jordan and water companies detect supply imbalances sooner and move affected areas onto alternative sources.
