Beirut Port deploys AI-powered cargo scanners for customs

Lebanese University has trained 430 academics to use AI in teaching

Lebanese University — The Lebanese University has now run 430 professors and researchers through AI training for university faculty, 260 of them in a second round split across 13 groups. The courses cover applying artificial intelligence in teaching and research, and sit inside Supporting Integration of AI in Higher Education in the Middle East, a French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs project reaching 13 universities across Lebanon, Egypt and Palestine.
